Mephisto Genetics CDLC × Grape Crinkle freebies

Soaked 5 seeds overnight. I added a couple drops of Chitosal to 150ml water.

They were already beginning to crack in the morning so they went into rockwool starters.

3 came up normaly and 1 came root‐up.

Once roots were established I put 3 in coco bags and put them under 4 COBs.

I left the upside down girl to see what she'd do, and the very next day I saw plenty of roots so she went into coco. She got her own nickname.

After rehydrating the coco was charged with:
  • ½ dose of monosilicic acid,
  • 2× dose of calmag +
  • ⅓ dose of nutes.
  • Bacteria
  • Yucca
A few tablespoons of fungi was mixed in before planting. It is pretty old so I don't know how viable the spores are but, it can't hurt.

I purchased 8" FloraCaps in hopes of alleviating some drip inconveniences.

I got a filter that I'll add when I automate fertigation.

These FloraCaps are designed for rockwool and have holes for oveflow.
They fit 2 gal bags beautifuly.

I decided to try puting wires in the overflow holes for early training if needed. I have no idea if it was a stroke of genius or pure idiocy.

They are doing well under 4 × 60w COB.

Demagorgon, lower right, is behind the others but I think she'll be OK. Maybe smaller or later.

Nutes are at 275ppm.

So far, with hand feeding, the FloraCaps are distributing the fluids evenly. The yucca probably helps too.

When I put in the irrigation I will have to level the caps.

Still hand watering for now.

Sorting through Mom's belongings has taken an extra toll on my hip and I can't put the pump pipes and lines in.

I added the 5th COB yesterday, and today I spaced the girls out and raised the lights.

In a few days I'll give them their first foliar Chitosal.
