Hi all,

I have a small cabinet 40x40 cm (0.16m^2)
I should use
1.Blue-6500k-200W CFL for Vegetative
2.Red-2700k-250W CFL for Flowering

Since these large bulbs are not to be found around my area, I'll have to order them on Ebay.
This is not recommended because they are very delicate and prone for breakage.
I will prefer to go with constructing a pool of 62W CFL.

250W CFL will produce 12,000 lumens
62W CFL will produce 3,600 lumens

so my question is:
will stacking 4x62W CFLs be equivalent to 1 250W CFL?

Thanks.

Its best to have multiple CFLs so u can better place the bulbs where u need them. U can get multiple penetration points in your canopy with multiple cfls:gthumb:

Do your light set up like this. You can easily hang it anywhere and adjust your lights anyway

Thanks,

How would you suggest to combine 4 bulbs?
option#1
veg-4x6500k
flower-4x2700k
total 8 bulbs
option#2
veg-3x6500k+1x2700k
flower-3x2700k+1x6500k
total 6 bulbs
option#3
veg-2x6500k+2x2700k
flower-2x2700k+2x6500k
total 4 bulbs

Thanks.

Throw a couple of 12W GrowSun LED Spot Grow Light into the mix, that would compliment your cfls big time. And watt for watt, will kick ass over cfl's. I'm going to order 2 from all pond solutions. 1 year uk warranty :-)

Will 4x62w be an equivalent replacement for one 250w cfl

Yes brother also 4x63 is better because you can distribute the light better and get the bulbs closer to the plant. Get them as humanly.close.as possible without touching the plants
