Check out this Freaky Growth Pattern!

An old ( I'm thinking 2012 never refrigerated) seed of White Orge has produced the oddest growth pattern I've ever had. One day it just started shooting out a multi headed side branch with way more stretch and node spacing than the rest of the plant. It looks like a whole different plant or a graft stuffed on this thing... Any thoughts? Whole plant is a bit pale. (N deficiency) I was away on vacation for few days. But this growth was there before I left. Not too worried about it just wanted to share with community

wow thats pretty cool. I get mutant eyebrow hairs like that. Rip em right out I do. It reminds of burl wood on a tree. It cannot be replicated in a lab or otherwise, but some trees do it, enough that it is predictable in some small percentage.

Need pics with out lights off.Secondary shoots coming out of main side branches is not uncommon.I have a plant that has numerous secondary side shoots and this may differ with strains and will result in more bud sites but they may be smaller than main colas.

I'll try to better shoot this oddball And post it up. The timing is odd too most the plant is into packing bud phase but this odd growth came late and is whispy nothing budsites.

That is a little strange popping out that late because this normally starts in the veg stage.

hey Prez! ... weirdy for sure,.. I forget who, but a while back another homie had the same thing,.. most the plant was on cue, but a couple branches fired off outta nowhere that were weeks behind the rest! i told him to just harvest as planned, or leave the young stuff behind and grow it out,... no idea what's behind this, but it smacks of some hormonal disfunction,....

So the very first main branch to offshoot from trunk grew into this odd whispy branchy curiosity. The other side grew perfectly normal. She's in final flush now chopping in few days
