Lighting Chickenfeet GN HS1 Shenanigans

So I'm a few weeks in, in real time but i got a few updates from earlier to add to the blog.

First thing i did was pop 4 seeds, Dutch Passion Think Different. Now i didn't take any photos of this part so you will have to use your imagination but i can tell you that i used the paper tissue technique found on the Sensi Seeds website.
All 4 seeds popped and sprouted little white tails so then i stuck them in these little pressed peat blocks which i soaked in water before and some of that plant magic root liquid. I then put them in an incubator (not sure on the real name), this is where i f***ed up, i burred the little popper's too far down and there was too much water in there so two went rotten, one went in upside down so the root started growing out the top but one sprouted like jacks bean stalk.
I ended up getting the "runt" out after disposing of the other two and turning it back around so the root was now facing down. If there was a doctor for plants like a vet for animals well i would have been that guy right then, i mean i don't even treat Barbie that genital.

Here's some photos from the first week, check out the runt on the right, seed pod got stuck on so had to slice it through the middle

Not sure when i took these next one, possibly a t the end of the first week ?

These are more recent, looks like the runt made it through but not sure if it will produce much

Well that's it for this week, any questions then be sure to ask someone who knows lol :D

*edit - forgot to add to the first post that i'm growing in a mixture of Biobizz light mix and Plant Magic Plus, there's no real reason to mix them really.

So I'm back with a little update, I really think that the cold has destroyed any hope I had of achieving good results so I am going to pop 2 more seeds next week, I'll still keep these two then we can see the difference.

Plant A is looking healthy under the GN's, although I need to get a hydro meter as I suspect it could be a little humid in there ?

Plant B is at least a week behind, not sure if that means it will still trigger the same time ?

Doh !

Best of luck Chickenfeet! That second plant went through quite a shock as a seedling so no wonder it's behind, but look at the healthy new growth, she should be ok and pull through still.

Lots of growth karma going your way! :Growing:

Chicken feet looks like over watering , let it dry out and they should come good , but one of the blokes with more experience than me will know for sure . Ps I have done the same thing .

It dose look like I've been over watering but only fed them 3 times since they popped ? Is that normal, I guess it's been cold though. Thanks for the quick response :D

A tube Heater might help with temps?you said temp 17c in a previous post and have only watered 3 times. It will help speed up transpiration, photosynthesis ect

I'm with bunny! 60f is a bit cold for ideal lights on temps. I've got small tube heater that i keep in my cab to get the temps to 75f-85f. It works great! :)
