Lighting Choosing clf lamp

6500k has more blue spectrom and the 5500 has more red.6500k should be used for vegging. Those ebay bulbs are 220 volt and most house current is 110 v.Unless you can get 220 volt those can't be used.

Of course it's better to have more light:)
I'd definitely add those lamps. Not the ideal spectrum, but quite usable.

6500 would be best for veg........

Yep. CFL spectrums are measured by their color temperature in Kelvins - the higher the number, the more blue biased the spectrum will be, and blue light is suited for vegetative growth. It will also contain a healthy percentage of green and red light but blue light will be more pronounced.

Similarly, the lower the number, the more red biased and thus good for flowering the CFL will be, though it too will also have blue and green light as CFL's produce a wide spectrum of light.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help everyone
Then realized by adding the two lamps will help the growth phase
I will use lamps growth phase
Flowering stage will use hps lamp

There will be no harm(except for higher electricity bill) if you leave those 5500K during flowering beside the HPS. Yield should be bigger.

look man it is really simple to get confused here:D is a chart that tells it all. Now you know the kelvin number remains the same, it is not additive. Only the lumen output if the bulbs can be added. With that said, 2700 for flower...6500 for veg LOOK AT THE CHART
