Live Stoner Chat Chopping Off Main Cola ?

Just a quick one for debate.
Tis the season of Bud Rot it seems. Im down with it on a couple of my ladies and supper paranoid it might spread and get worse.

Ive got another couple of weeks left with my current grow if I can hang on.
Ive chopped the main mahoosive thick as your leg cola off 2 of my girls today.
On these 2 plants the main cola was looking great and ready. The rest of the buds want a bit more light I think.

How do you think my girls will react to just loosing the main cola and the rest left in the room?
Will the rest of the plant still finish off OK or am I going to shock the ladies into something nasty?

Whats the feeling on this?
Ive not got the experience to know how things might go.
Still Im thinking if that main cola is down and in tact its better than running the risk of rot and loosing her.

It won't be a problem. Lower branches tend to take a bit longer to finish and many people will harvest the mail cola and leave the rest for another week or so to mature a bit more.

Never been part of anything like AFN, This place is a family and a damn good one.

I've took main cola's before for different reasons. Reason number 1 being I was out of smoke and that big ole cola looked divine. Other reasons being light issues or mold but mold is something that I almost never run into with AF.
