Grow Mediums cleaning autopot system - what do you do

Ewwwwww..... that looks thick...... But I know nothing of those Nutrients and what is normal for them..... @pop22 is your man!.
Thanks but I got her fixed, it's not thick really, just added the water and it seems to be ok now.
I premix it for my other girls and use only what I need from the gallon jugs at that particular feeding time, and just let it sit til next use and it doesn't do this,
I'm thinking that the hydroguard and not having enough water to mix the nutes in to is what's caused it, after adding the 2 gallons of water a few hours ago and I just checked it again after 30 mins and still looks good so believe that's what it was,

I'll keep checking it for few more hours every 30-45 mins and see what happens. Il
I think couple weeks ago when I was really stoned I mixed a gallon of the mega up that was actually for 4gallons and I forgot to add the 3 Gallons to the tank afterwards. Is the root of my whole issue I believe. Stoner moments

@pop22 taught me when I first started using autopots to get a 60ml syringe and use the to force clean water through your hoses. In addition, he taught me to have a backup set of hoses all made up in case of a clog, pull off clogged, replace with clean and set about cleaning the clogged lines with syringe. @legalizeme
So when you flush water through the line which direction are you sending water? Do you disconnect at the res and flush through the aquvalve? Really just trying to find out if flushing water through the aquvalve is ok(or even needed) and the logistics of the whole flush process. I guess every set up would be different.

I can jump in here if you don’t mind. Flush water thru the lines each way and thru the autovalve. Sometime salts will build up right where the valve opens to let water into the tray. Another trick pop22 taught us is to have an extra set of lines complete from reservoir to trays, so if needed you can just switch the clogged lines in less than a minute and then clean it up to be your backup set for next time.

Quick edit here. Since I started using @Greenleaf Nutrients MegaCrop I have not had a single clog. Have been skipping my weekly maintenance to see what would happen and so far no clogs.

I have had some clogs. Using BE and Sweet Candy on top of MC. Also use Drip Clean. I find I'm getting clogs at or near the filter in the res. What I do now is run compressed air thru the line in to the res and flush that part of the line and also blows out junk in the filter. Then I run the air in the opposite direction and clear out the lines and valves in the trays. But I have had two clogs in the last month using Autopots and Megacrop.

Anything with sugar in it will cause problems. I've run Megacrop for a while, on my forth grow with it. The only time I had clogs is when I was running HydroGuard with it... I know doesn't seem to make sense but I've not had a clog since I stopped using it.

@pop22 I've kind of noticed that problem with Sweet Candy already. I'm doing drain to waste with soil (with MC, SC and BE) but am trying to learn all I can about what will work good in a res for 5-7 days without much work. Seems like the sweet candy creates "gunk" floating around my container around day 3-4. What would you guys recommend for a replacement if at all. And thanks for all the info guys. It's super nice to have so much experience around willing to help out.
