Live Stoner Chat Clear/cloudy trichs? I can’t tell.

Its hard for me to see.

I’m using a 40x25mm jeweler’s magnifying glass. I can def see trichs but very difficult to differentiate between clear and cloudy. Maybe my age is starting to show a bit and eyes aren’t what they used to be. I haven’t looked into the microscopes. The thought of buying a microscope just seems pricey. Maybe I just need a bigger magnifier...like a 50x or 60x.

I’ll start flushing her today. She has grown in soil w/Fox Farm trio. I’ll flush for the next week, 2 or 3 really good flushing. Let the leaves yellow up before harvest. I figured either way-if the trichs are clear now, they will be a good mix of cloudy in the next week and if they are cloudy now-then they she will be at peak of cloudiness in the next week.

Pistols are about 70/30 Amber. Anyone with an experienced eye able to make things out in the pics?

Pistils don't look ready. it's not the right way to judge but I have never had cloudy trichomes with mostly white pistils and the orange pistils arent crisp yet... u got good 2-3 weeks from the pic bro

I have the Carson Microbrite and I don’t care for it. The 60x and 120x are overkill for me — I can’t seem to focus. I found a plain lit jewelers loupe that works the best for me.

Just chop her honestly don’t sweat it lol, cloudy is better than orange the main reason to wait for a percentage to be orange is to limit premature trichs

If i had chopped her then I would have missed the swell. She got the ax 2 days ago. In the last two weeks she filled in all spaces and the started to foxtail out sides and top. But posting isn't mine just helping show what to look for.
