LOL!!!
This was my daily smoke for many years when i lived in South Africa!!
When we were younger we used to go camping up in Swaziland and see fields of MONSTER TREES!!!
Most of them were taller than me and i am 6 foot 3!

This is the reason i have been freekin' out about leaving them for too long...
Already think i left them a week too long!
I see a lot of super cropping in my future!

Man, your a damn lucky swine if you've managed to source some genuine Swazi seeds, very jealous dude, actually, no, I'm not lol.... If you haven't seen the strain hunters episode in Swaziland then check it out. If you think they're big now then your in for a shock lol. It's been years since I smoked some, man just thinking of it brings back so many memories

That was a pretty good video!
When we used to go camping up there it was always far inland in the mountains, usually by a lake or river.
The weed fields were never that far away!

Cannot wait to sex the beasts!!
Hoping for a few females!

4 days into flowering

Only 4 days in and almost everyone is shooting out pistils like crazy!!!

So far i am about 90% sure that all the Swazi plants are female!!!
Not sure if it worked but i used this guide to help me select female seeds, may be a crock but it seems to have worked for me!
I have attached it to this post for interest!

Full res clean, disinfect and refill with PH'd RO water and H&G nutes to 600PPM. No added CalMag required yet.

So far i think everything is going very well with this grow!!
I will let the swazi's stretch a bit more and then super crop them again.

idk Laze... LEDs are known for cal mag defs, and so is coco though I've never realy had an issue up to now (when I re-used about 1/3'rd) ... I've been noticing that my previous coco grows where on the lighter tone of green until mid flower. This time over I did have an actual deficiency, and giving cal mag 0.5ml/L since, and I'm seeing true darker green tone like never before.

LEDs and coco are a cal mag def match made in heaven. Since LED's have much much less irradiant heat, and cal mag not exactly easily absorbed by the roots, transpiration has always been a means of "forcing" cal mag" into them. Try giving 0.1 or 0.2 EC of cal mag for two feeds... no harm at all at these levels, like 0.2 to 0.5 ml/L...

I'm saying this because it looks like it... but judge for yourself, could be a camera thing? I've gotten used to this light green lime... I do see a huge positive difference with a little extra cal mag

I sprayed them down with an Epsom salt spray yesterday.
Will have to see how they react to it later today.
Also added some CalMag to the res for waterings during the week.
Will give them a few days to adjust and see if they look any different!

2nd week of flowering

Missed last weekends update...
Very busy on this side with family stuff, health issues and all that fun stuff!

Very little to report as the grow is on autopilot and requires very little from me.
It is quite nice but not as interactive as when i grew in soil.

Anyway here are the pics from last weekend!
The LED above the Swazi has been raised to the ceiling as i was running out of space...

3rd week of flowering!

Into the 3rd week of flowering and things are still smooth sailing!
Plants had a PH'd water flush yesterday to remove any salt build up.
Upped the PPM to 700 for the feedings, they are on a 3 times a day feeding for 10 minutes every time.

I am down to 3 Swazi females, 2 turned out to be males and had to be cut down...:no:

The height of the Swazi plants is amazing!
The light is hanging by the supplied hangers, no chain required and some of the buds are almost touching it!
The plants on the other side still have the LED hung by chains.
The TD under the induction is doing pretty good too! Quite a bit shorter than the Swazi's but pretty average and bushy!

One month of flowering!

Another uneventful week has passed!:Cool:
I wonder why i was afraid to change over to coco?? It is so easy to do if you have the right equipment and water quality and testers.

Your PH pen and PPM meter are your best friends!!
Starting with a good base of RO water and you will have no complications!

Out of the 4 Swazi plants that i have, 3 are very similar and one is an odd ball for sure! 3 are the long, lanky Sativa strains and are taking their time flowering and producing any trichs. The odd one is flowering away with trichs and a fruity smell, definitely NOT Swazi...
