Indoor Coco coir? Or stick with soil?

Any experience with coco coir? Is it good for autoflowers to grow in coco? I'm thinking about COC coir for my chemdawgs. My store sells bales of coir just need to hydrate it. If I were to go this route would I need to mix anything with coir bale? Or is it all I need?
