Grow Mediums Coco out doors ,

Hi all , have any of you guys grown in coco outside as I am keen on doing this as I am lead to believe it will help keep the soil cool , I will be growing in large pots and If I can figure out how to keep the pots shaded as well all should be good . The plants will be photos and some autos .

I grew a plant last summer in a 10gl pot filled with coco with hydroton in the bottom. It probably would have done something if I'd stayed with it. I also plan on doing it again this summer but I plan on being better about it. Maybe put it half in the ground.

I was going to say what roark said. I would bury the whole pot and cover it with some shade cloth or something. I bet they would go wild. I dream to grow a plant outdoors one day.
