Hey afners. I have a multiple technique post going where one of the plants is a big photo jack herrer. She is doing great but foxtailing prob cause she is too close to the lights. I cant go up or down due to space constraints. The lower branches look like they ll finish soon but the main cola keeps pistiling and slowly growing upwards. Has anyone come across this and what did u do??

Hey strakey, had a plant do that before but i just took it whenever the trichomes were starting to amber. On the main cola she had at least 40% white hairs at harvest but they turned yellow/orange after drying and curing.
What i wanted to do was cut the side branches and leave the main until she stopped throwing out hairs, but it was already like 100 days and needed the space.
As far as foxtailing, not sure what causes it but im under the impression that it's due to genetic reasons. Had a plant grow in pure foxtail before, just one stacked over the other and the buds were left really skinny in the end lol if u have buds and then foxtails sticking out, thats straight at least the center mass is there!

Thx jay, good to hear from ya my man. Ya this isnt the first foxtail. Happened on blueberry dragon last grow too. Seems to do it at 6 inches from my hps. Cant adjust up or down either. Stuck where i am. I agree with ur method of harvesting all but the main cola. Not time yet tho. What i found from my prev grow was the bottom bud on main cola was great looking but the top seemed too fluffy and immature. Not alot of trichs forming either. Did this happen to u??

Some Say Its from High P in blooming. its Mostly Strain Related tho. Think in the Affy Side of a Dragon ...It will Be a Lighter bud but Sounds About uttelry mindblowing ...

Thx swampy. Merry christmas and thx for your reply. Its a jack herrer f1 photo. Gonna wait for the bud to cloudy up first then i will. I have been adding big bud to to my canna coco a and b so i wonder if its 2 much then. Will dial it out.
