I am documenting this method as we have already found out the 7 day jar method works.
I did both last time but it was poorly documented in my main grow thread. Ultimately i found they both work the same. This one just does it over the course of 3 days instead of a week.

But i took a few months growing this dankity!! WHY would i water cure to remove smell and taste? And why do this method?
Well, i am almost out and as much as i live rec, im more of a med guy. And mrs hg is also medical. So ive got about 2-3ish weeks before og kush is done, but only have about 4-5 days of meds. So i took 2 medium/small branches early to fast cure and have till i chop the rest.
So whats needed?
Small funnel
Plastic Straw & scissors
Coffee pot
2 liter bottle (top 2 inches)
Fresh cut flower
Sink (out of the way is better)
Dark of course
Here are the 2 branches ive taken. From here i wet trimmed and put them into my coffee pot.
Then i inserted the straw into the funnel and set the funnel in the pour spout of the coffee pot. Once the straw was touching the bottom of the pot i noted where to cut. I wanted it about 1/4" below the "bowl" of the funnel.
Then i cut the top of the 2-liter about 1 inch below the cap/screw. I wanted to have a little bit of a spacer to help keep the canna under warter and mold free.
Then I filled the coffeepot through the funnel slowly. Once it was filled i adjusted the stream to just over a trickle, covered the sink in a towel (since i have my led seed start/veg setup running in there) and walked away.
I will say fast drying is important for mold evasion.... So hang directly in front of a fan for a day or 2 till dry.
A lot of the wet cure questions were answered in the sticky in the curing section. This is just a slight adaptation to speed the process up.
I used to keep aquariums. And the logic here is the same. The water will take in the baddies, and will do so better if the water is cleaner. So a constant slow change will be more efficient than 3 days doing 1 or 2 changes a day... Thats why the other water cure takes 7 full days. At least 1 a day.
Just sharing some knowledge. Try if if you wanna smoke fast and without smell or flavor (80%-90% gone). Or dont try it. Just dont hate it.
Think on it:
Does knowledge have intrinsic value or does it need to have a practical use to have value?
