Currently on day 43 of my first grow, and I've noticed that most of my fan leaves are yellowing. I know it's common late in flowering but I'm worried that it's too soon and maybe she's sick.

I had a heat issue, and what appeared to be nitrogen toxicity ("clawed" leaf tips) last week and seeing the fans turn yellow has me thinking my buds are going to be undeveloped.

These pictures are about 11 days apart. First is March 5th and the second March 16th.
Have I stunted her ? Is she sick ? Is everything okay ?

Thanks for stopping by to help a concerned First-timer.

I am bumping this thread to see if we can get some more eyes on it.

I hope it helps

Your attachments aren't working.Post some pics of your entire plant.

Cap-- at your thread--
Hey Cap'- What are the NPK #'s on those fert's? MG soil is often problematic with nutrients and pH,... that said, the yellowing could pass for both N and Mg defc.'s,... N because the (lower) whole leaves +veins are paling out; Mg can show higher up with similar initial symptoms, but usually veins stay green... We need pH info too, if you can, and fert's info, also see if the soil label has NPK data too,... how we fix will depend on this info,...

I'm re-posting this here in hopes of taking preventative measures and improving upon my next grow. The yellowing has spread pretty quickly to much of the plant and I have lost a lot of leaves with most of the others looking faded and/or having burnt tips. The leaves lose all of their green from base to tips, then start getting mottled with brown spots (at which point I remove them). It seemed certain that she was experiencing some sort of nutrient lockout, so I decided to add 1/2 a tsp of baking soda to her last two watering's.
My new soil probe arrived today, and I spent a good deal of time testing the soil from different areas and depths. I was expecting crazy numbers by the looks of the plant, but most of the tests were in the 6.3-6.7 range. One of the deep tests was 5.95 (the other 2 were 6.2 and 6.3) and a couple just under the surface were 7.1. I'm hoping the readings were reasonably reliable as the probe set me back $75(us).
So my first question would be "What went wrong ?" It seems to me that she wants to fatten her buds but is lacking the P to do so and sucking it from everywhere else. Was there a pH lockout and I just happened to balance out the soil pH with the baking soda ? Are my nutes too cheap/incorrectly balanced for this type of plant ? Could it be something entirely different ?

The one good thing is that she's still doing her best to keep on growing her buds so I gotta ask: Is there a point where I should consider chopping her down early ? Judging from the pics below, how much more time should I (try to) give her before harvest ?

update: I just noticed Salona has recently started growing new leaves around her lower buds. They are small but look green and healthy so I'm hoping she can stick around for a while longer.

Re-uploading the pics because it seems they aren't working again.

Can anyone help answer my questions ?

Hi CappY, Sorry I don't have an answer for you. Have you tried the Live Help thread? You should get a pretty prompt reply from an expert if you post there. :goodluck:

Looks like she needs some nitrogen. If it were me I would add a little bit of veg. Base nutrient into your feedings for the next couple. you could try using half veg and half bloom nutrients
