New Grower Cooltube question

Hi everyone. ı'am using cfl in 120x60 growbox, and temperature is 25 C. when i switch to 400 watt hps temperatures up to 34 C ! İf i use cooltube with 180 m/h duct fan, can ı protect the 25 C temperature ?

It's not only important what you use to cool but the ambient / incoming temperature and where you exhaust to.

Where will you be exhausting to and what is the HPS currently hooked up to that it's temperatures are hitting 34C?

Haha, the way I understand your picture - yes the cooltube will work perfect and help you reduce your temperatures. :thumbs: Good pic!!

And yes, a cooltube is exactly for this purpose. I assume it will have its own air inlet and outlet points too?

Could I ask a question about the grow box itself? The diagram illustraits that you have a height of 120cm. Thats pretty low for an HPS as they are kept a minimum 30cm above the plants, then if you add the size of the tube and light, you are probably looking at about 60cm grow height. What strain are you looking to grow, and I assume you will LST the hell out of them?

I would love to see a journal?

With cooltubes I have gotten my bulb within 20cm of the plant tops.. That gives about room for a 18" plant 'comfortably' with some LST it seems very reasonable, "My 2 cents"
