8 oz limit in Colorado too. Now what am I going to do with the extra I got off my legal plant limit????? Guess I'll just have to eat it all and smoke a lot more. Idiots.

A lot harder to enforce a limit on stash than it is on plant count. I'd tell them "GFYS" you aren't looking in my stash jar....lol!

Well the cops ain't beatin down doors here askin to search your stash. Now if your growing 50 plants outside, or in, and braying, like a jack ass, all about it. Well.....you get robbed and arrested.

Sorry if this goes too off topic, but I've been reading up on this and I don't believe that there is an 8oz limit, provided you grow it yourself. My understanding of the law is that you can keep whatever you harvest from your personal plants, provided they are under the 6 total and 3 mature limits, and provided you keep it where it is grown.

From what I've found, this is the actual wording:

(3) Personal use of marijuana. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, THE FOLLOWING ACTS ARE NOT UNLAWFUL AND SHALL NOT BE AN OENSE UNDER COLORADO LAW OR THE LAW OF ANY LOCALITY WITHIN COLORADO OR BE A BASIS FOR SEIZURE OR FORFEITURE OF ASSETS UNDER COLORADO LAW FOR PERSONS TWENTY-ONE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER:

(b) POSSESSING, GROWING, PROCESSING, OR TRANSPORTING NO MORE THAN SIX MARIJUANA PLANTS, WITH THREE OR FEWER BEING MATURE, FLOWERING PLANTS, AND POSSESSION OF THE MARIJUANA PRODUCED BY THE PLANTS ON THE PREMISES WHERE THE PLANTS WERE GROWN, PROVIDED THAT THE GROWING TAKES PLACE IN AN ENCLOSED, LOCKED SPACE, IS NOT CONDUCTED OPENLY OR PUBLICLY, AND IS NOT MADE AVAILABLE FOR SALE.

There are some other city and county restrictions (ie...city of Denver only allows 12 plants total in a house regardless of number of occupants over 21), but that's the gist of it. Now if they want to say you didn't grow it, then there are also possible "intent to distribute" penalty enhancements that kick in at 8oz's. I would HOPE that in an innocent until proven guilty system that it would be on them to prove that you didn't grow it, rather than you having to prove you did. Wonder if an autoflower.net journal would be good evidence to have in that situation....hmmmmmm.......

Oregon officially will be legal July 1st. You should see all the small green houses going up. We will be allowed 4 plants per house hold and 8 ounces of dried bud. We we be allowed to drive around with 1 ounce in our pocket. Now what my son found funny was this, you can vote to legalize but not allowed to smoke it until you are 21... LOL
