Hello everyone. I was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts about cover plant's (camouflage) for the garden.

Im was thinking about a guerrilla grow but nowhere suitable close. I don't drive, so that would make it difficult.

Anybody have any good ideas?

You could look into the smaller japanese maples - nice leaves! :)

or for smell, grow lavender, mint - I'd be interested in hearing more suggestions about pungent acrid smelling acompany plants. I'd just like some around my garden :)

If you are not surrounded by houses and have a large garden, i've seen those green houses or mini poly tunnels with non-see-through material, if you were to be growing your own fruits and veg at the front, you could pop a couple of plants have have them nicely hidden at the back (in case someone goes in there!)

I was thinking about the greenhouse option, I got the last walk in plastic greenhouse from wilkos, a bargain at £20. Was £40.

I was getting it for my tomatoes and other veg. Might have to put some more additions than planned. I don't know the specs at the moment, but its about 2m x 1.6m floor space. Not sure on hight.

What do you usually grow apart from the herb?

Mostly tomatoes, tomatillos, chillis, a few herbs, I also keep some flowers like marigolds as bait for pests, then chuck them out when they get bad. Busy is good for hiding stuff, but tends to harbour disease, so if you can move outside later in flower in might be worthwhile.

Consider climbing roses, jasmine and honeysuckle if you need a bit of height and screening to with scent. Shorter/Auto plants blend in well with fruit bushes like blackcurrants or raspberry. Taller annual type flowers could work well and won't cost too much > seed, prep time and some decent organic matter.

I am in a simmler spot to you (but further North). I have lots of herbs and some lavander for the smell. Was also thinking of getting some jasmine to go near by (2 for £5 at asda atm and they some in yellow or purple). Then Tomatoes and other veg to help them blend.

Nettles can make great cover but i'll warn that they can carry pests and diseases that will affect cannabis, this is the case for me in my garden (moth caterpillars that love burrowing into buds with devastating results) but your mileage may vary "My 2 cents"
