Anyone seen the Vivosun oscillating clip-on fans on Amazon? I bought one thinking it would be a somewhat cost effective solution to buying a Monkey Fan, but the clamp will not allow the fan to be clipped onto a corner pole while still allowing full oscillation. I was about to send it back because it just doesn't quite work for my needs, but I had an idea in making a mount for it. Just simple modified buckets, with a 5/8" dowel in one spot for support. I added filled pop bottles in the bottom for ballast, and realized it's kind of like a radiator heater in a sense, so I plan to add a 3"x20" seedling mat around the inner perimeter of the bucket, which will heat the water bottles by 10-20F, essentially I will have a 20 watt heater with an otherwise worthless TO ME oscillating fan on top to circulate the warm root love for my 3x3 space and I thought it was kind of cool. I also have another oscillating pedestal fan that will be on top once the plants are tall enough to need it, the lower fan will just keep the under canopy breezy, which is supposed to be badass for bud production. Be creative!
