Skill and a microclimate is a key for outdoor soil. Gotta take my hat off to them growers! I slay it in hydro so soil can get stuffed for now lol

Skelly sets the bench mark with outdoor growing I wish i could grow half as well as him! I love growing outdoor, there is something special about it. I do envy you indoor guys but , being able to control your climate must be great, also the amount of weed you guys can grow in such small spaces blows my mind. not to mention the weight you hydro guys pull

Being able and accomplishing to control the environment comes at a cost ,,I don't measure anything as I can't change it why give my self something to worry about

Next few grows I'm moving from a yield perspective to a balance of cost per gram over gram per watt!

That's a great way to look at it ,,there is a total cost I only use fish mix my yields drop but so do cost ,,,same as for training methods

Yields seem to be the focus for most, and I completely get that. Yields are a somewhat objective measure of success. But since I grow for myself alone and for mostly medical application (OK - with some recreational consideration) I only care about the effect with yields as a secondary concern. Hell, a crappy grow will get me an ounce dried. So if it's an ounce of something that works well for me, I'll take it!

Unless you factor in my daughter's weekend visits. Then I need to pull at least 6 oz per plant and a 10 acre grow space.
