i have 6 cxb3590 3000k 90cri to cover 4 -6 plants. Now do I add another 3 cobs or should I put a quantum board between them?

In a 1.2x1.2 but in a space of around a metre square.
Qb would be cheaper and 135 watts and 3 cobs would be another 150w but with more spread. Again this is just for 4 plants really

Thanks

You think 300w is enough?
I'm not to sure myself but I don't have led experience.
Was thinking a1 maybe 2 boards with the cobs either side, but would be 1 in the middle to start.
Or an extra £60odd to do another 3 cob bar to make 450w over the 9 cobs

If you add 4x CXB3590 (200W) you have 800 PPFD in your area. That's more than enough for autos and even photos without CO2.

But for 4 plants I think you have enough light already.

I do them in 3s so would be 9.
Your saying it takes 500w to make 800ppfd?

Would it help if I grew in a 1m space instead of having the breathing room with regards less space more light?

Man I would fuck a quantum board in that mix for the hell of it. Check out growmau5 on YouTube's quantum canopy. He does just that. Although I tend to agree with the dude above saying your PPFD is high enough for what you have under the lights. Might worth checking out the Emerson effect with using far red LEDs at lights out to put the plants to sleep. Intriguing stuff. Happy growing buddy. Subbing this thread for updates. [emoji123]

I think I'm going to order a quantum board once I get a reply from them to a few questions I have then il look into the reds and far reds to add later.
Once iv got adequate light then it's all down to me as the grower but won't cost me a fortune in electric also hoping it will help when I do photo plants, once I get through with what I have and mephisto stop bringing out new stuff lol.
Will update once I have it :)

Looking good brother. I like the configuration and I'm glad you went with the boards and cobs. Wise choices. What is the wee sensor in the top left of your tent? Looks like a motion sensor or something.

Will you be updating with a grow journal under this light? Will be interested in side by side comparisons on your previous grows. [emoji108]
