ok so I had a Pakistan ryder hermie on me from ph problems ( im guessin) cause that was like 10-12 months ago anyways I have a photo plant that I pinched a side bud off to test and as I was chopping up the bud I seen a couple little seeds DAMM my heart stopped but whats done is done,i thought I cleaned up my grow space turns out I started using a old fan again must of had pollen in it my ? is what will the seeds be like 1/2 auto 1/2 photo? fem? hermie prone? are they good for anything she should finish in about 2 weeks if that makes a dif any info would be great

holy shit! I knew the info would come floodin in

i think crossing a hermie auto with a photo will result in maybe auto hermie or maybe photo hermie or maybe non hermie but its a question of stability as well. generally speaking the seeds wont be auto until the f2 and must be inbred or backcrossed to stabilize. so its anyones guess. id look into what plants might have hermied in your recent grow since ive never heard of pollen viable that long unfrozen just sitting around.

Auto x photo = photo
Unless you keep adding auto flower genes for 5-6 more generations.

I have grown many seeds from hermans an not had a Herman.....

I've read about folks here getting some to auto after the first cross though not seen myself. some say the auto gene may even be dominant *shrug*

u know after thinkin about it I had a sleeskunk photo turn hermie but that was bout 6-8 months ago also I had a Pakistan ryder and a think different since then but seen no balls or seeds in either buds hhmmm maybe she hermied herself I just cant see pollen sacs yet if so they should be female right? I don't no guess ill just see if they mature enough and if they do pop em in some ffof

it becomes dominant , no need to keep adding to it like scar claimed , just keep breeding the seeds with themselves

but its not the best or smartest thing to do , hermies breed hermies , especially when they pollinate themselves

id toss em all outside and if they grow so be it , if they dont , who cares

peace

p.s. if you toss em outside be nice about it and dont toss em within miles of anyone elses plants or suspected areas

oh I wouldn't do anything like that,id break someones neck if I caught em doin that to mine..but ur right I got a nice little spot n the woods this spring

Wow is growing so common that you'll have to be careful where you plant your seeds to not upset another grower nearby? seems cool though that you only need to cross it once to the auto and then inbreed a bunch to stabilize. i wonder why so many vendors claim they do so much backcrossing to the original auto if they want to get the most of the photo strain they're crossing it with.

"TFFT"

I have photo to auto projects I've crossed with autos 4 times before I seen an auto flower.
And I'd bet its not 100% dominate yet.

Never heard of autos making themselfs dominate.
Guess the auto used had very dominate AutoFlower genes?
I've always hear it was recessive, which is why it takes alot generations to make it dominate?

I'd like to learn more about this...
Is there a thread / journal where y'all did this or somthing?
Any other sites have auto growers that believe this?
