New Grower Dark Devil and Fast & Vast.

hey fellas, my RQNL does not look so hot. It has been drooping like this for 2 days now since I watered it. There is no discoloration in the leaves and it's still growing but the leaves just grow out and reach straight for the soil. Any clue what is going on???? I'm stumped. Ph is at 6.7...
Hey buddy, how heavy was the pot when you watered?
I would say it looks like it has been in water too long, continue to let it dry out and it should straighten up.
It was pretty light. I don't feel like I'm over watering.

I saw a question earlier about raising pots. It's a good idea. You can use pretty much anything - 4 bottle tops, some thin blocks of wood - as long as the pot can drain and the pot isn't sat in the the run off water you should be golden.
As for watering by weight, the pot should be light before you water it (preferably before the plant starts to droop from underwatering). and you should water slowly until around 10% has gone through the pot (out of the bottom). The pot will be really heavy at this point. Don't water again until it's light.
When my 6-10 litre pots need watering, they're almost polystyrene light!

dark devil is over a foot tall now at day 20 and has shown sex. RQNL is pretty funky (and not in a good way). One day her leaves are drooping, the next they are canoeing and reaching for the sky. I'm debating transplanting to a 5 gal bucket and putting it outside and giving the Fast and Vast the larger pot.

Your Dark Devil looks really happy! and the RQNL, while being finicky with you still looks nice and healthy, hopefully she'll grow out of her flighty issues...

I'm guessing I'm in the stretch phase right now. Over the last 6 days the dark devil has grown from 4" to 16" today. Mind blown....

good job that a big stretch either you are doing nutes, right on the money, or you have a genetic freak; either way ride it out. and you are right, when pots feel light, water them. I weighed my pots when a 3 gallon is wet it weighs 10+lbs when it got lite it weighed just over 7lbs. so just over 3lbs change, hopefully you can apply that to you. You might have to do lst or scrog to spread out the large calyx sites, and allow the Fan, and sugar leaves to help in the Photosynthesis. good luck
