Just checking in. Loving the update, they look great! Exciting to see them flowering, wait until you start the Resinator, I'm looking forward to that.
Peace and :karma Cloud:

Hey Redneck, how do you get them to grow like that? Mine always turn out busy, really wide reaching leaves. These look so so good!
I'm using HO T5's, and try to keep 'em in tight ( maybe a foot off the first week after germ, 3 or 4 inches after that). And I water as little as possible. My soil is pretty dry after 2 days, really dry after 3, and they're begging for juice after 4.
I also use CFLs for side lighting.
As for bushy, that might also be genetics. My Northen Lights was bushy like an Italian porn star from the '70'S! :niceshot:

Wwwillie! Brother! :pighug:
Thanks, they seem to be doing really good. I have to re-take my update pics in a minute. I want to capture more of the colors on the DD's. Unreal purples!
I'm sorry to stop with the AbsorbaLight, but I was seeing the first faint signs of tip burn. The Bloom nute, first app, wow. Talk about making a difference. I'm still kicking myself for overfeeding the AN base nutes, (my dumb ass), but she's also doing well, so maybe no harm, no foul.
I can't wait to start the Resinator!!! :peace:

I hope this will be a long grow. I want to see the DD's color really develope!

Thanks, Brother! :tiphat:
We're loving the color, and the trich formation on her.
I'm anxious to see what DD1 does, now that she's on bloom nutes. Tonight will be her second dose, and she reponded really well to rhe first one.

Grrr.
It may be time to give the gals another good semi-flush... I noticed some signs of burn on DD2.
I also saw a couple of fungus gnats playing in her pot. Gave 'em a handful of DE, I'll give em a dose of the dunks as a follow up.

Hi Renaissance!

What do you mean by a handful of DE and a does of the dunks? I'm guessing DE is some kind of anti gnat product and dunks is dunking the pots into water.

Personally what I do is put an inch of clay pellets on the bottom and the top of the pot so the gnats don't have easy access to the compost. Also early in the plants life cycle I give them a dose of GNAT OFF which is natural / non toxic and creates a bacteria which kills the Gnat Larvae. Then I hang some sticky fly traps and the moment I see one Gnat on the traps I dose the pots again with Gnat off.

Also I'm finding that SB Plant Invigorator which is a great organic non toxic Pesticide / Mildewcide / Foliar Nutrient.
I spray the plants regularly with this stuff to make sure Thrips in particular don't colonise the plants also. My bug problem in this part of the world in the climate I live in seems to be purely fungus gnats and thrips.

Here's a little bit about it:
"SBPI has a physical mode of action which is non-chemical and non-biological. If applied correctly pests will not become resistant to SBPI. There is no harvest interval after applying SBPI. The efficacy is excellent.
Biodegradable Non toxic Suitable for use throughout the year No harvest interval Plant stimulant foliar feed for strong healthy growth Controls plant pests including Whitefly, Aphid, Spider Mite and Mealybug Pests will not become resistant"

Because it uses basically Nitrogen and Iron in a specific form which is sticky and basically sufficates the bugs, it's safe to use on the plants right up until harvest if you have too. Plus the nitrogen and iron in it are great as a foliar nutrient, so it actually promotes plant health while acting as a bug killer or preventer. What else could you possibly want right? :) This stuff is awesome.

I've found that prevention is better than cure so I take proactive measures to attack bugs before they have a chance to attack me. I'm growing 24 plants in one room in Autopots so it's important I don't get a bug infestation or they'll just take over the jungle of plants. So this is just what works for me the best. Hopefully someone finds this info useful :)

Hey Red, those buds are looking really good, especially DD2.. nice and frosty! I've got a DD seed for my next grow, looking forward to growing this after seeing yours  If you get a chance check out the red poison I've got going, if you like DD you would love growing the RP... the smell is amazing (smells like citrus starburst candy lol) and also has a crazy amount of trichs.

Keep up the good work brother :Sharing One:

DE is diatomatious earth, the shell remanents of a type of phytoplankton. Messy stuff (a vey fine powder), but the silica they're made of does unspeakable things to bugs! :xlaugh:

Mosquito Dunks are another biological control; I have a package, just haven't used them yet. I understand they can be very effective.
And thanks for the heads-up, Brother! I'll check into the Gnat Off and SBPI. I love a well stocked war room!
