Indoor Dark Devil/Sour Deisel Haze

Hansbricks
If you get a chance check out the red poison I've got going, if you like DD you would love growing the RP... the smell is amazing (smells like citrus starburst candy lol) and also has a crazy amount of trichs.
Now that we're finally shaking off winter I'll have more time for eyeball candy! I'll definatly check her out, Hans, I really wanna get one growing.
You'll like the DD's. Very hardy so far. DD1 got her first taste of Resinator last night; I think she'll frost up fine.
I think we're hitting the point where AN vs Rock will get interesting.
Two different feeding approaches. We'll see what happens!

:woohoo:

Nice! I can almost smell them!! They look tasty!!!
Wwwillie!! Bro, they're just starting to get some good smell going, and if they taste like they smell...

Aw, hell.
SDH is trying to die on me.
This has been creeping up the past few days:

Pic 1 is from 3 days ago.
Looks like a cal/ mag issue to me. The other two pics are minutes old.
She's on Rock, and they do advise a lower pH for their product, my last readings were 5.8 in and 6.4 out.
I did a "semi-flush" yesterday with bubbled water @ 6.5.
Tonight I'll finish the flush, 2 gallons @ 6.8, the last bit will have nutes.
DD2 is still looking very good, again too leggy from that full dose of base:

DD1 is going to be a good one. Compact, bushy, I'll have to get a close up of her color tomorrow!

I may have to get medieval on SDH. :BottomBeater: Nobody dies on me! :roflcry:

Those colors are so cool. Awesome plant man.
Is the first picture nitrogen toxicity? That claw effect? Looks great now though!!! ;)

:smoke: Reeeeed!! You must hollah louder when I'm remiss!! ... I'm on fumes just now, so just a quick note on things,... :pighug:the girls are phat! DD's are spot-on; the leggy one is more the norm', from what I've seen; RP's are much the same, long internodal distances, very dense bud clusters, nose-cone cola tops! And of course, the patented Sweet frost- :hump: >>>The SDH is Ca defc., by the looks of those spots,... I don't think it's a soil pH thing, just sheer demand beyond what the nute's provide,.. we see this how often? LOL! You got some Ca-Mg supp around? You could even do a super careful foliar spray on the fans too, by shooting from the inside out, top and bottom of the fans only, as well as a soil drench,... Another factor that may be kinda lock-out related, is how much you let them dry before watering,... remember, that as the soil dries out, the relative conc. of nutes in there goes up,... if it's pretty loaded but otherwise okay when moist, when it starts to dry, it may tip the balance enough to start a little burny-burny or maybe partial lockout... or, most likely she's just plain hungry for Ca-Mg!... your pH management seems solid to me, so, try some molasses or dedicated supp' before waterboarding her anymore! **looking at the pH nute-chart here,... nah! Ca has a very broad pH availabilty, even Mg is pretty good... if it was a pH lockout thing, other nutes and symptoms would have manifested way before Ca, and I see no other signs... Dose that chica my friend! :coffee2:

Waira! :pighug: I've been so damn busy, I've been neglecting my thread! No worries! It was ca mag, for sure. I did a gentle foliar with epsom and molasses, and she got a dose of the ol' Brer Rabbit her next feeding, as well. I'll post the pics tomorrow.... I'm embarassed at what I did to her. :face:

Dazed

No N tox, Dazed, it just has always been that way. Some weird genetic trait is all I can figure. :WTF:

Porn Avain .....lol lookjng Stellar

Day 62

Things are moving along!
DD2

DD1

And my poor SDH
renaissance-redneck-albums-dd-sdh-picture337038-101-5371.jpg

I really mangled her, guys, just by a major brain fart. Obvious cal/mag issue, so hey! She was due for a bit of a bath, so I did a "mini flush" to purge some salt build-up, re-fed her, and gave a careful foliar with epsom salts to correct the def (no cal/mag on hand... last time for that).
Yep, she didn't get much better. So Red has the light go on. :stoneslap: Cal/mag!! How much calcium is in ES? Right. It's a freakin' sulfide.
Lesson learned.
Anyway, the DD's look like they're getting close. Trichs are showing lots of amber, and I see the fan leaves starting to turn off. The test buds were amazing. A wonderful, slow moving high, great taste and the smell.... oh, Brother! DD2 has a sharp citrus smell, with fruit and floral notes, DD1 not so much citrus, mostly a strong (blueberry?) odor.
I'll re-check trichs tonight to see if they're ready to start cleansing.
SDH has a nice diesel smell, and will def go longer!
Edit: To avoid confusion: I did go back and re-treat with ES and molasses. It was that first, critical lapse in judgement where I just used ES. Cal'mag will now forever be on my shelf!

.... :smoke: LMAO!! Time to bust out that blonde wig, sport! At least the Mg part is taken care of,... :wiz: LOL! I'm likin' my General org. Ca-Mg, in a fermented sugar base, no N in it,... reasonable price too,... to hell with the fan leaves looking purdy, my friend! It's their job to cough up anything the most important parts need,...you and the plant want the buds to be well fed! And she does look that red, nice stout colas full of frost again! -this batch of SDH may not be the most stable and forgiving, but the Q has been solid.... *** LOL! -love those antennae foxtails! DD's are looking fine and ripe my friend, great job again on this 2nd ever grow! :hump: She sounds pretty much ready with all that amber, never mind what the leaves do,... my cousin RP's were slow to shut them down as well,... In soil, a week or so should be fine for cleansing,... Did you pick up a rinse agent type product? I did, Sledgehammer, by FF, so I'm gonna give it a try,... I'm guessing it knocks off the residual nutes still stubbornly bound to soil particles,..... the aromatics sound tasty, and a nice mix! ...lots of subtle variation in DD grows on this, all good! *** rep', ...wishing it was fixed! I'm losin' out on all kinds- LOL!! I'll save up a mighty blow for later-

Thanks, Waira!
I gave the DD's a drink of good ol' pH'ed water this morning.
Lemme know how that Sledgehammer works for you. Until I pay off my new room, things are a bit tight!
As for the SDH, I now understand what Swampy said last year.... NEVER AGAIN!! Just a pain in the butt, all the way around. "Swivel"
Maybe a newer, more stable line would tempt me, though. :coffee2:
