I personally don't decarb, since every way that I process already has heat as a component. The only reason I could see to decarb is if you were making raw leaf and Coconut oil combos for Coco caps.
Nope, everything I do starts with a quick extraction with Everclear and then I reclaim in a water distiller that's been modified to operate at a lower temperature. I thought about getting a thermometer and just throwing it in there inside a ziplock bag or something to get the temperature sometime. But, instead I'm going to go the other route and just test the tincture that comes out so then I'll have a pretty good idea.
I'm going to test some my tincture I think next week or the week after it'll depend on when I can pick up some more coffee filters. I've already tested the flowers I'm making it from, it's in my CBD Journal.
I also do allot of edibles that are cooked at different temperatures.

Do you have sources pop? I recall reading a study of processing butter, where the decarb period was less than an hour and the butter was processed for one to three hours and tested. All samples had active THC not the acid, two hours proved to be slightly better than one and three.
I have a feeling if I put a bud in the oven for 12 hours and sent it for testing I wouldn't have any THC left.
Either way, I'm going to test some of my tincture soon it will have about 2 hours total time under heat.
