Photography Deficiency or Bad Photography?

I've been taking photos of this 14 day old CBD Crack young'un daily and I'm not sure if it's me getting used to the settings on the new phone/camera, the fact that I'd raised the light a little or if there's a deficiency going on. To the naked eye, I don't see what I see in photos but I'm still a little concerned and just hoping that maybe someone out there can tell me what the issue might be. As indicated in the photos, these were taken two days apart. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't see any issues. #2 looks washed out with bad exposure but it still looks fine.
