Hi Guys,
Im new to growing.
Currently I have an AK-47 Autoflower seedling in a 5 gallon fabric pot with FFOF soil and perlite mix.

The seedling was germinated in water for 24 hours, then transferred to a wet paper towel and placed in a dark warm place for 2 days until a 1/4" taproot formed.

Since, temperature and humidity have remained constant at 70-74F, and 47%-61%RH.

Watering with tap water ran through activated carbon for a few days mixed with distilled to achieve a TDS around 60ppm and pH'd to 6.5 using GH pH down.

The seedling is under (2) 39watt T5HO 6,500K bulbs about 12" above it.

The seedling broke ground on 9/22 with the hull still attached.
Next day I assisted with its removal (easily and carefully).

I have been misting daily and I may have overdone it.

No additives have been added to the water Ive used.

Please see below images of its progression.

Its fine. Dont water too much. Let the roots hunt for water. Plant looks fine to me. Dont worry few more sets should grow fine.

Is it normal for new leaves/growth to look shriveled? and the first set to have those light green/mid green dots on them?

I seem to remember ffof being a bit hot so she needs to get used to it. I soak my pots then don't water again for two weeks. Can't do that in fabric but my point is as others said , let them find the moisture. Roots reach the bottom of pots in a couple of weeks.

Thanks guys for the reassurance. Im a nervous grower. Its my first time. This picture is today. Any update from you guys?
Also, is it normal for seedlings to smell?
Opened the tent today and definitely could smell "that" smell after touching a leaf.

Hello all my first time growing autoflowers I have two white widows and two Lambs breath they all seem to be doing good except one it looks like a real nice green color the fan leaves look good and healthy but the new growth on top is droopy and kind of curling and stiff. Anyone have ideas of what's going on?? I'm growing in a 2 × 4 tent with 20 hours of light on & 4 off, 400w watt HPS using 3 gallon fabric pots with ffof soil.
