Indoor Deformed Seedling?

Could this be light burn? Nutrient burn? Lack of humidity?

Lighting thus far has been (2) 39Watt Sunblaster T5HO in individual parabolic reflectors, suspended about 8-12" above it.
Nutrients haven't been added at all, only 6.5 pH'd water around 60-80 ppm TDS
Humidity has ranged 49% - 63% averaging about 51-55% RH.

Today is:
73F
55% RH

So I misted it lightly and gently with pH 6.6 water at 78ppm TDS

Well,
This is today...
The new growth keeps appearing more normal, and I have many side branches beginning to form now.
However, the original mutations on the first leaves are still visible. and there is some strange splotching on one of the first sets...
Any ideas?
She's still growing well, and beginning to pick up growth speed every day.

Conditions are 77F, 52% RH, watering with 6.4-6.6pH water every 2-4 days.

Hey there! :D Looks like a mutant! You could keep it going for practice, but you may want to consider a back up plan, just in case this mutant grow turns out to be less than "fruitful".

Personally, my backup plan would be to start another one and pull the mutant up. In 14 days from sprout the seedling should be about that size, I'm not sure how old the the one above is.

What ever you decide, good luck with the grow! :d5:

Its 18 days old today since it broke ground on the 22nd of september with the seed hull still attached.

grow her out she will give u plenty of buds for sure. i can tell. she is growing strong. i got a freak plant going now.all its leafs look wierd have done from the start. she is now massive and budding strong. best of luck and happy growing ;)

Not too bad then for size (considering the shape of it last week)!

It sounds like you wanna keep it alive! If that's what you want, keep it going & treat it like any other auto. I've grown out mutants before - they never yielded as well for me as my "normal" plants .. but still got something! I'll see if i still of a picture of my Sweet Seeds variagated leaves grow! :D

Well considering she's growing strongly in the past week, and Im taking pictures day to day to compare, and this is the first plant ever for me, I think I'll see how she does.
So the consensus is that this plant simply is a mutant seedling, and nothing else?
Could these deformities be from hot soil, or windburn or UV light exposure?

these deformaties are genetic..nothing to do with growing conditions ;)

"Splotches" are quite possibly because of spraying her, the droplets sit on the leaves and act as little magnifying glasses and intensify the light, leading to a kind of "burn" on the leaves where the droplets sit.

But since the new growth is good, I wouldn't be too worried at all
