Roughly about day 20 now. After having a look at some other grows my plant seems a bit behind in terms of development (admittedly they were using 600w hps and stuff like that) but she's healthy and seems fine after the watering.
I started doing some LST but I thought she might still be a bit young so I removed the string.
Instead of doing LST I've tucked some of the fan leaves away so the secondary meristems could get some direct light. I'm sure this isn't a new technique but I don't know the correct term for it.
Does anyone know of grows experimenting with adding phytohormones to nutrients? Adding stuff like auxins and cytokinins could definitely change the way a plant develops adding root mass etc... It'd be like giving steroids to a bodybuilder!
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16906440 (about genetic engineering but still relevant)

Edit: Apparently synthetic precursors of these hormones can also be called "plant growth regulators (PGRs) and these are the main active ingredient in stuff like topmax, gravity, phosphoload. Unfortunately because the cannabis fertilizer/supplement market is unregulated it is often chemicals that have been banned in agriculture, due to their toxic properties in humans, that are present in these additives. There are harmless PGRs available but often supplements aren't labelled for "trade secrets" purposes. I highly recommend that you all steer well clear of these products unless you are absolutely sure of the active ingredients and there is proper research showing it to be safe.
Anyway enough rambling!
