Lighting Dimmers .

I've got a 4 cob setup that's dimmable. I see the biggest benifit is being able to turn them down when the girls are small, and bring them up as the plant matures. Less moving the light, and saves energy for the first couple weeks.

The Meanwell driver has a dimmer circuit you may control with a simple potentiometer that allows you to vary the intensity of the light at the power supply which has 96% efficiency and is well worth the extra 6 bucks for the part.

I'm not using cobs I still rock an ol school hps but it has a dimmer an yes it comes in handy to not only control heat but also to control light intensity an power consumption as well .

You can buy MW driver version A. It has built in small screw under plastic and it is dimmable 40-100%. Or little more above 100 actually.
