Hi,

First post of a grow journal for as the title suggests for fruity an auto strain from Dinafem. I chose this as I love and I mean love tasty fruity weed, lemon, grapefruit just something that retains the flavour when I am bifting up.

Chose Dinafem as they seemed like one of the few companies to post realistic yields. Did the schoolboy thing first couple of times round and got sucked in by bold claims and although they delivered to an extent I am now going for quality over quantity.

Anyhoo, back to the actual grow. I germed using a technique which has been 100% for me on second batch of seeds and also on this run. Damp paper towel, wrapped in freezer bag and then wrapped in jumper. This is then put in a shoebox and placed on top of boiler. One day and a half later 5/5 had germed. :)

Planted and now fast forward approx 10 days and here we are (pics attached.) Today is the first day I am getting anything close to a scent and this has happened much quicker than my previous efforts. Also first sign of the famous five appearing leaf wise. Will look to update once a week come what may. Pics will be invariably done inside tent (I know this frowned upon) but don't like shifting plants. Will obviously be outside when flushing or diagnosing an issue.

Setup

Digital 600w ballast.
Parabolic shade.
Big budha tent.
Dual spec bulb.

Big grow and big bloom for nutes.

Get involved! Particularly if you have any experience with the strains.

Cheers

Sub'd :bong: looks like your off to a good start

awesome grow, What kind of soil are you using? I'm sub and ready for some action

Thanks for the welcome/input all, seem like a friendly bunch. Makes a change from some other sites considering we all share a mutual hooby. :)

Uccism - Using a cheapo soil bought from Wilko's, not ideal and I know how important soil is but needs have must a bit at the min due to cashflow, mixed about 1/3 perlite to soil so hopefully that will help.

Did say I would only update once a week but just opened up the tent and see that my plants are showing themseleves as some sexy lil bitches, hopefully you can see from the pics but all showing some lil white pistols. As never grown a "60 day wonder" before I thought okay probably more like 90 days at least until pull but they do seem to be hitting the stages in fast fwd....which is Awesome.

Couple of days overdue but some pics from tent today as I was having a re-shuffle.

Stupidly, I did a big re-arrange so they were out of tent for a couple of hours but negated to take some pics so afraid the light is still present.

Experimented earlier in the week with using an old inline fan I had knocking about, had not used previously on this grow as it nearly took out my light last time round (cheap tent poles failed me) and had it directing air from outside tent to in it. No real science behind it but thought it could not hurt, plants seemed to respond well but have had to reverse and attach a carbon filter as starting to get some fruity smell........its good. Pretty cheap so think I will end up getting some ona but should be a okay stop-gap.
