Lighting DINAFEMS by faded187

sorry guys!!! for bein an asshole.. I didn't mean to come off so harsh.ive had a real bad morning. and it carried off onto you guys. I know you guys just uncertyain about topping and fim because all the different stories.. but that's what im tryin to prove.. if you guys could just bare with me. I wouldn't give anyone wrong information on here on purpose to fuck up there plants.. again im sorry for venting.. together we will prove that super cropping an auto can give huge yield. are you with me?

Hey my brother. I totally understand where you are comming from. Though I feel perhaps you have mistaken the reasoning behind their questions. I know for me at least. I believe everything you say. Your pictures prove everything you say. You grow some awesome bush man. Im just not so confident the particular strains I have would respond well to it. I think perhaps the others might be on a similar page. Specially since a lot of people say dont cut anything off. So, it is very suprising to see someone grow something so bad ass, and FIM/toppin them to boot. I got respect for your bravery on seeing for yourself if the hear say was true for you and the particular strains you have grown. I definitely plan on testing it out on a plant soon. Once I get my nutrient regime a little more dialed in. I think they might not respond good for me if I dont have my feed dialed in. I think I do this round though. Sorry for any confusion my friend. :Sharing One:

No problem bro. It was just me. Bad day was all. But yeah bro try it some time. Then you will know for sure if it works for you or not. Not really fair for people to say no work just cause someone else says it dont.I dont say bending and breaking stalks stunts plants because I never tried before, but prolly does.lol to each there own I guess

For sure man.
And I do plan on trying it out sometime soon.
I replied a little late lol. I totally didnt see the entirety of page 9. :face:

Cheers my friend.

It takes more courage to say sorry than not to! :) Kudos my friend!

I'm with you .. in fact i've seen some crazy stuff already that's worked out well with autos.
I'm getting the feeling that (despite the life and death timer) the latest generation autos are becoming more hardy, and can take to the higher stress training better than some of the autos we were growing a few years ago.

I've seen hazy suppercropping .. i've seen others topping. It's worked out well.

I think the general "safe" info is there for the newer grower, and should probably only be attemted after getting a few jars filled :) ... how frustrating would it be to kill a first auto 20-30 days in! :)
Agreed here, old tales die hard. Everywhere on here is "light feeding" for autos and I have always fed them just like my photos, according to size of course, with no problems at all.

Still feel bad about. But it happens to the best of us. Thanks again for understanding peeps.

At times, it gets frustrating. No worries bro. Your thread is yours to grow how you like. That is what it is about, pushing the limit and trying things other's aren't willing to try.

I've been off to training for work for the last 2 days. So these last couple of pages kinda took me by surprise. So I figured I would throw my change onto the table as well. I am still pretty new here and I am the first to acknowledge that I am way below the power curve as far as proven knowledge go's with Autos, and photos for that matter. But I do know a thing or 2 about growing plants in general. There are some general rules which are undeniable. If you are cloning or grafting, sterility is required. If a plant is to be able to uptake nutrients and grow, it has to be provided said nutrients in an appropriate form at the proper PH for the plant to utilize them. A plant requires light and warmth along with the nutrients in order to thrive. Most of what we do as growers is geared toward optimizing these few factors in order to coax as much output as we possibly can from them. Each of us have our own individual twist to growing. Sometime in the future, I hope I can crank 1000 grams out of an auto ultimate like TaNg. Or even 500+ grams from a shiznit like Grey bear. But when I do it won't be because I was able to duplicate exactly the conditions or their methods. It will be because I have become attuned to the way the plants speak to me and will know what to do and when to do it based on my experience.
Now, all that said. I realize that the accepted methods which are commonly used and recommended are based on observations made over countless grows by numerous experienced growers utilizing the methods they were taught and decided to incorporate into their individual grow style. Each person is an individual and over time we all change commonly accepted methods or recipes or practices to suit our ever evolving personal style. I know that I need to learn the basics that Muddy and the others teach and depend on. I respect that knowledge and the commitment that they made to learning and and passing on that knowledge. I am also an artist of sorts. I never make a recipe the same way twice, Each cut of meat is different from the last and needs to be handled accordingly. If we stop testing the boundaries and pushing the accepted methods, we never advance. Different people can achieve amazing results with the same plant and completely different methods..

Faded has a method that is comfortable to him and yields results that he is satisfied with. I have not seen him trying to convince others to do as he does, only stating that it works for him. While I may try this in the future, I will only do so after learning the basics that I need to know before trying the advanced methods or the experimental methods as it were. It will be my choice and I will either succeed or fail. But that is how we learn. I feel sorry for the grower who doesn't strive to expand their scope of knowledge or their repertoire of growing and cultivating methods.

Grow On Folks and have respect.

Whathesaid.png..... Brilliant

I am getting geared up for my first grow, this will take longer than I thought, purely because of threads like this one and the forum in general. There is simply too much knowledge and experience I want to soak up before I really start splashing the cash..... I want to buy once and right first time.

So if fimming autos is not blasphemy which Faded clearly documents it ain't, then maybe the 215 cm high Mammoth grow tent l have my sights trained on may not be such an absolute necessity(blooming 800 Euro high price tag to match).
My job was thinking out of the box for many years, challenging conventional wisdoms...... Probably did permanent damage to my wayward faculties..... I catch myself thinking so wayyyyyy you out of the box these days..... Within a year I will match TaNg and others of his ilk blow for blow, and in 2 years THEY will just have to powerlessly soak it up if THEY don't up the stakes.....sweet little daydream here......... Maybe fimming is one of the ingredients in the witch brew.gifI'll come up with in my little daydream, and I'll have to bleed royalties to Faded...........keep it up man!

looking good Faded. as a self proclaimed free thinker and a Zen Gardener (one who read's any and all info, but listen's to his/her plant's for the final decision- my definition;) ) next time I do multiple plant's of the same strain and pheno, i'll be trying this to see for myself. hell, if it keep's my plant's on the short and squat that will work with my height challenged cab lol. if it wasn't for risk taker's and curious mind's we would still be living in cave's. keep on keepin on Bro

Well thanks my friends. As you know there might be some strains that MIGHT be impossible to keep squat.yull see in my yoda update later today, I no give up on keeping her under 24 inchs but its gonna be TOUGH lmao..right now she 18 inchs, only 7 inchs from led, and fan just blowin on high to make her ranchs grow sturdier instead of longer and skinnier.. make sense? Yeah she dont care. She no wanna listen to me yet.lolol
