New Grower Dirty's 2nd amateur 600watt grow

I see no one has commented on the drooping - so I'll try to tackle that for you. The plants look very healthy although a little short for 3x under a 600W HPS. So I have a few questions that if you could answer I'd be happy to provide my opinion and advice.

1. How often do you water and about how much water do you use?
2. How long do they take to dry out and what is your gauge to know if they're dried out? (Pot weight, finger in soil, what?)
3. Is your soil straight up all-mix with no amendments at all?
4. Do you have any air blowing through your canopy / plants?

Look forward to helping if I can, but just to note - if the drooping eliminates upon watering you're usually not in any sort of trouble.

Hey, Thanks for the interest!

I was doing a scheme like this for the first 2 weeks: feed,break,break,break,water,break,break,break,feed..
My feeding pattern at the moment is: feed, break, break, feed, break, break, water, break, break, feed

I usually feed my plants 2 litres each and water just under a litre.

I give my pots the finger in the soil method to check if they are dry.

I have some light mix in with my soil mix, thinking back on it im not sureit was a wise choice.

I have a fan in my tent, but i try to make sure its more of a breeze on my plants rather than a blow.

Thanks again Goodie ! :smokebuds:

So the breaks are days without water giving u a 3 days drying period ...

I use the weight method and water till about 10% runoff comes out for ph testing

Yeah that's pretty much 3 gal pot ...
Could be over watering ..not sure ..thats what the weight helps with mmu can honestly feel them dry ...doing the fingers check can cause root damage thus causing u to stunt them ..
I had to figure that out ..thats why I like the smaller pots now ...u can rip some ladies in 1gal ...maybe give them a break and slack just some water for a few times ....

Cheers for the great advice swamp! Ill start checking how heavy my pots are, the last thing i want to do is stunt my girls or get problems with my roots :(
I might consider putting my next autos down in smaller pots, i just dont want it to have a major impact on the yield.

Thanks for the advice again! :smokebuds:

Also dirty wouldn't worry to much your plants looks lush, my plants some days droop when they wake up and droop again while asleep during the day they perk up... Ya know a typical gal ;) j/k
Yea never tried ph perfect before using this grow full line up of fox farm, so far all good... ALOT of noob growing pains here ;) AFN helped me through a lot of them ;) when are your plants drooping like that? Do they perk up at all during the day? Maybe not watering enough? Just some thoughts...
