New Grower Distance Advice Please: 180w LED (3x60) VIPAR UFO (Ebay)

Hey there, :tiphat: I am stonedBRO, your friendly neighbour spiderman...okay so I'm not spiderman but :dunno: *sign* ANYWAY...

I am new to growing all together. I went for a risk and got a 180w LED (3x60) VIPAR UFO from eBay (only available on the VIPARLED eBay store, not on their website, fake? go figure, meh it works)

My tent is only 150cm tall but as you can see from my pic below, I lose some of the height due to my extraction.

Currently I have the LED hanging as high as it can physically be and my ladies as low as they can be. The current distance is approx 70cm but they are growing closer each day.

Questions: Is my distance right? (I read online 75cm is good for babies, but think this was a stronger LED)

Questions: Could anyone tell me distance (cm) for a 180w UFO LED for
1) Seedling 2) Veg 3) Flower

Questions: Should I just let the babies grow up to the LED and keep them both where they are or should I bring the plants closer during veg to speed things up?

If you can not give me measurements I will keep at 70cm and let them grow towards it, once a little more veg is established I will raise the pots higher to the LED to lets say 50cm? and 30 cm for flowering?

This is Day 17, with a 125w veg cfl in the centre 5" away and 70cm UFO above.

Hey TaNg thanks for the reply, are those typical for LED's of different watts?
I mean for example, would I have to hang mine different to a MS006 or are the heights all roughly the same?

If you run out of vertical height you could move the fan outside the tent. You can also train the colas to bend over and up, like an "S" shape.

I plan on getting a scrog net in there and training them but they have not stretched yet, as for outside the tent, stealth is key here bud, windows with curtains open can see into neighbours houses.

I will be moving my set up today and fan may be able to go out side the tent when it's needed

I think with distances there's some variation between manufacturers though i reckon the difference would be small.

Does your unit actually draw 180 watts ? A lot of 180W lamps only draw 120 watts.

If you find yours draws 120W then you can use my distance regime (i use a 120W LED)

Seedlings : 60cm
Veg : 30cm
Flower 15cm

Assuming there is little variation between different manufacturers' bulbs.

Here's my last girl from current grow, she is at day 78 today in this pic.

Because of perspective the buds look ilke they are 4 or 5 inches away but the tallest bud is 6 inches from the LED.
