New Grower Do plants fart?

I was going to guess a toad till you said they were brought inside. Toads love digging their nests in freshly watered soil around plants. That was atleast untill I saw that pictured hole being so small. Muddy could be right with the mouse, just the hole looks like it was dug from the standing point stem side so the flicked soil would just stay in bucket or mound closer to the stem perhaps? goodluck

Did any dirt get throw out of the pot? That close to the edge, if it is a mouse I would expect some dirt on the floor next to the pot.

Yes, there was dirt out of the pots, as well as just turned over. It doesn't look like any digging occurred, more like something surfaced and pushed the dirt upwards.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question... BUT you said you had a spider in there... Did these holes appear before or after removal? Certain Spiders dig holes is why I'm asking... But if you're not seeing spider silk or webbing around the holes probably not. Sorry just trying to help...

Spider has been gone for a week as of right now. No web's or anything.

Update: Filled in all the holes a few hours ago, lights went off. Lights came back on...another hole.
