New Grower do you top autoflowers

Dude!!I totally hear that..believe it er not I scrounge fer cash like we all do too.well most anyway LOL!! I remember when I grew like that n thought 8 over 1 er five tops n so on. I applaud you sir.but ive found for me man.that quantity is just as easily attainable with a better outcome with manipulating (imho ofcourse) in other less invasive ways.

I tied back a couple colas on my last haze and one of the strings got caught on a cfl side light and snap right down the center stalk.. no more wasting time tying and breaking stems shes all done and have grown an inch in the next 36 hrs my friend. but like u said no argument here to each his own..

Y aknow man.I gotta say dude.If yer really into that man.I always had an Idea I thought Irun by ya realy qiuck..small drill a handfull of steel rings attached to the edges of the pots every cpl inces er whatever and a simple office clasp to hold in place..slip n clamp essentially..check it out dude..I obet you'll find it might be easy to adjust easily n not have to fumble tying n stuff.Just an idea I never got around to doing LOL! rock on dude!

Try LST.

Some autoflower strains may respond well to topping (super autos) and other regular, smaller autos will not respond very well.

After reading the posts about topping ,my final thoughts are that some say it works and some say it doesn't so growers should keep this in mind if you decide to top an auto.So go ahead and try it if you feel the need but remember you are takeing a chance that it might or might not work so remember this.

I've done side by side comparisons of topped and untopped plants. Same strain, same pheno. In the end the topped plants took about a week longer and produced the same as the untopped plants. If space or the desire to maintain an even canopy is the issue, LST is a better approach.

well its been 14 hrs and she has grown enough to tell its a successful fim.yes!!!!! 10 colas and some side branchs baby..

I never top my autos not saying it cant be done I just don't practice it because I feel that they just grow to fast. Muddy just proved it because he said the one he topped took a week longer and I feel he got lucky just having to wait an extra week. to me it sounds silly to top a plant that can grow 1 inch a day.

I say it will work but is a waste of time.
