My understanding of the Paki Ryder is that it was bred from Pakistan Valley, which is a true landrance, making the PR about as close to a landrance that an auto can be. PV is THE best med strain I've smoked. I've decided to try a photo grow in my outdoor box and am going to grow another one. Think if I run my lights out from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. I can keep the heat under control. I've been helping out a person with MS and I think it will work great for her. Also want her to try some of the Duurty.

I didn't get a big med effect from the Ghaze x Diesel. It's a well balanced high/stone and great for music listening. Maybe a bit too much sati influence for a good med strain. I've about sworn off of any sativas, they are playing too much hell with my blood pressure. Gave away the RRF I just grew. Almost passing out just from getting up out of a chair. Any sati doms I grow now go for oil. The oil doesn't seem to bother the blood pressure.

Yup..I think we have nuances of the same meds in Mi5..Psiren..Pak Ryder..BlackDragon...
If a grower Likes one..they will probably like All.

This is the One I'm looking at...we Both have similar Strength of med effect I Think...I would Really Love a comparisson.

I'm a bugger coz I don't really get anything sati..or too far Haze...so I'd love to know either Similarities or Differences...:thumbs:

I may effect her differently than it does me, sure hope it does. I'm okay with most sativa dominant crosses, it just seem to be the pure sativas or certain sativa dominant crosses that give me problems. The RRF was the worst.

Get her to persevere with the Affy...if it Doesn't put me on my butt for the first 3 or 4 days I would worry about it...
Also..take it Early..Early Affy is an UP Energy high..it is like Speed...:thumbs:

MS has similar symptoms to my nerve damage..so I would recommend Duurty for it..:thumbs:

I'm totally off satis for pain meds..even my own..:no:...I get the mood lift but no pain relief..no point..

for Me..a strong sati dom actually seems to wipe out my indy med effects and the pain gets a hold..so I avoid them...:smokebuds:

mossy just to say --the strains ive grown of yours kicks out asses.when im not working<which is alot due to the pres>my day consists of farming alittle---picking my guitar --check my girls and smokein .we usually start the day witha fat 1 around 8 am--2 more before or by 12---with a average of 8 to 10 fat ones a day---i smoke and get up so it dont plaster my butt to seat--my wife says ive been smoking so long that a normal me is a slightly stoned me.she accounts this to hours--days --weeks --months and years ive been smoking since 1969---mossy your strain are the best ive smoked to date!!! i like couch lock

Are you sure it is the Sativas that are doing that to you? My guess it is too much Bachman, Rush and Glen on the new TV putting you over the blood pressure limit.

OK as always my initial knowledge is letting me down. What the heck is a PR besides a slang expression for a Puerto Rican?

Summer time and not a whole lot happening round here. With no outdoor photo grow this year and the outdoor box shut down, I'm limited to my small indoor area.

The three PR x BB and the one Duurty Dragon are about a week away from harvest. In spite of the early pH issues they are looking very nice. Bud weight isn't great but still very respectable. One of the PR x BB looks like it will go about a week longer than the others. It's showing more sativa dominance with longer, less dense buds. She's a big girl, 36" tall with a 24" main cola. Just hoping the buds fill in a bit more over the next two weeks.

In the mean time I've got my next grow started. The Coffee, Mango and White Sirious are 10 days old. Since they are fem seeds I started them right in their final, 3 gallon pots. Been quite awhile since I've done that and I had forgotten how most of the growth the first week or so goes to the roots. I used to them taking off faster. They should need watering in another day or two, so will probably give them a mild feed. That should kick them into a higher gear.

I did see a nice little 5,000 btu A/C unit at WalMart for $98. Just need to recompute my power draw and make sure the circuit I have to my outdoor box can handle it. If it can, I'm considering buying one so I can run the outdoor box year round. If I do, then I'll probably throw a couple DWC buckets in there and see if I can grow a couple of Jackal type monsters.
