New Grower dragons for 50 posts

hey, i know in the scheme of things... im low low man on the totem pole... but hell... ill get a thousand post for some dragons... and pay for em on top of that.... whats a dude gotta do lol?

all i know is when i get em im gonna imbreed for seeds constantly. and donate them to patients and caregivers, so we all can taste the smoke from the dragons nostrils. i will also send them back to the original breeders, if they can start a donation center for patients.

yaaaa, don't do that... if you breed them you'll have bad seeds with potential undesirable traits, the f1 seeds come from the breeders, you'll produce tainted highly variable f2 seed

Now what do you mean by inbreeding? I thought as long as say he takes 1kd male than pollenated another completely different KD plant, would that still be consider inbreeding? As I thought inbreeding which would cause undesirable results would be if you pollenated say a m/f to the same changed m/f.... Still learning all myself

I believe the KD is pretty stable. I could be wrong and Mossy will correct me. :D They're a cross of two stable strains of hers and she has taken them past F1 to get them back stable...Again. I think that is the case. :D

But yes that is inbreeding what you're talking about. :smokebuds:

Squid,
Which one is inbreeding? The pollination of same strain but different plants or is it inbreeding to pollenate same plant ? Confused here....

Kind of both to some degree :smokebuds:

looked the defintion up for you:

inbreeding
1. The breeding of related individuals within an isolated or a closed group of organisms or people. (->Strain)
2. The continued breeding of closely related individuals so as to preserve desirable traits in a stock (->few plants from the same strain or cross)

Ahh so am wondering if my seeds are going to be shit than?!?! I was able to pollenate a few rd females from like three or four different males, and than as well my entire crop got hit from the RD's so I have crosses now that are f1 the crosses should be stable? It will be the rd bred with the Rd's that won't be stable? Lol I think I'll have more seeds than ill know what to do with...might just huck a few handfuls into the woods in the spring and than come back and see if any took... Would love to see some test runs on these crosses, though am thinking not until f2 as f2's and beyond I want to start only doing female seeds as I only have limited space and need constant supply of meds for myself... Looking forward to hearing how I should proceed... Currently am trying to reverse a private female(a friend hooked me up with one of their special beans) though due to nature of that reversed plant I am really going to need to keep control with its pollen as I am not giving those beans away out of respect for the mother plant (as friend is very private)... I am going to see how this works with the sts and than see where to go next... Definitely want to fem all my f1 crosses and possibly cross the crosses together to keep genetics stable... Would love some help in my endeavors in becoming seedbank independent... And honestly the only beans I'm really excited about are going to be on the collective soon ;) not sure how this would be taken but am almost tempted to send seed bank $$$ now to see if they'd hold credit till the beans I want arrive... Having a strong feeling they are going to sellout REALLY QUICK... Wish they'd take pre-orders... Lol

To be honest I forget exactly how it works. Where the hell is cres?

We're still in the process of sorting that out man. Bear with us, kind sir. :D

There's a lot of ins and outs, but when it gets to that point you'll know for sure.
I am not certain what the final criteria will be, but Mossy will let us all know. Take care. :smokebuds:
