I'm going to go the cob rpute eventually. I'm planning on using citizen 1212 clu48 80cri, I want to start with 2 cobs and eventually settle on 6, I need a driver for the 2 single, cobs and a driver for the 6 total, I was thinking the 320h from mean well would drive the 6 once I get to that point but what driver would you recommend to push the 2? Thanks in advance for the answers guys

I have a Meanwell hlg 240h 1050 and it runs four 1212s at 50w each the apparent sweet spot. Two 1212s would push 100w each, about as close to their max rating as I would like to try but citizens are supposed to suit running at higher power, not sure how much truth there is to that I just remember hearing it... You can also add more cobs to the circuit when it suits you, making each chip run cooler.

I recommend looking at your cobs spec sheet and checking to see which drive current gives which output this will ensure you know what your working with, good luck!
