Harvest & Curing Drying without trimming sugar leaves

Hey guys as the title says I harvested my plant however leaving the sugar leaves still attached. Any pros or cons to doing this.usually I trim them before I hang to dry just decided to change it up.any comments are appreciated.

personally I think it makes the curing and manicuring process quicker.
All them cuts release chlorophyll if I'm not mistaking, and it can take even longer to get a proper scent coming from your flowers.
At least in my experience

I've heard multiple different opinions.

If where you live or where you dry them it's super dry I would leave them to stretch it a bit IMHO.
When I lived in Colorado I overdried mine and was very hard to bring the scent back.

Where I'm at this time of year the rh is really low. I've trimmed the fans off but figured I'd try hoping it would help the rh in tent

Hi Guys if your Rh is below 30-40% you shouldn't dry more than 4-5 days, (it will taste bad,) then into the jars to cure. The rule of thumb is the percentage Rh without the zero and you add a day (i.e. 30% Rh is 3+1= 4 days). The stems should't snap completely, my experience and what I've read.
I clip the sugar leaves so I leave part of them to cure with, I think it may help with protecting the buds, but not sure

ya to me its really simple.trim them.why/ well I have grow chem and now pure organics solely,BUT with that being said chem limits the dry and cure process for terps and other lovely goodies that just arent present in chem but are more prevalent, organics or chem same thing applies imo..but leaving the leaves on only does two things imho.one its can protect the trics but with proper drying and jarring and storage to cure you'll loose almost no trics in the jars.time and time again I have nothing to tap out of my jar as it dont fall off.and Im bouncing it around and all. and two it'll make three times the work when you do take them and jarring them with leaves on them will partially ruin some of the qualities of the sweeter inner flowers.i did that recenlty to a heisenburg special. same thing killer once ya take all the wee leaves off but the smell is NOT there untill you break into over just opening the jar and BAM.

I grow and process several lbs of flowers per year, and have found that by far best results come from pulling large fans off only before hanging to dry.

Forgot to mention that leaving the sugar and even water leaves help 'seal' in the terps. Some people leave sugar and water leaves on until they are ready to partake. I am finishing up manicuring some (Blue Dream x Purple Kush Auto) that I harvested late last fall. Filled with terps.
