Forgot to mention that leaving the sugar and even water leaves help 'seal' in the terps. Some people leave sugar and water leaves on until they are ready to partake. I am finishing up manicuring some (Blue Dream x Purple Kush Auto) that I harvested late last fall. Filled with terps.

Looks pretty to me! I mostly trim my buds to use the trim for oil, I find it easier to work with than bud. I don't get fancy though, just give 'm a buzz cut...lol!
