Dutch Passion 2024 Grow and Show Lemon Z

This is my Grow journal for The Dutch Passion Lemon Z Grow and Show.

I first soaked my LZ beans in distilled water for 12 hours. Then I put them in paper towels until they grew a nice tail. Next I put the seedlings in root riot plugs inside of a seedling tray with humidity dome until the roots are visible at the bottom of the tray. And finally I transplanted the ladies into 2 gallon plastic grow bags with 80/20 coco the perlite and i sprinkled Great White in the transplant hole.

This is Day 1 .

Got the ladies transplanted into 2 gallon pots. Tent is a lil crowded atm

Day 10
They are a lil small. Hopefully they pick up soon.
I am feeding 350 ppm once a day just a few ounces.

Day 17
They are starting to pick up the pace. They got off to a slow start when I transplanted them. I think they are going to explode with vigorous growth very soon.

Day 21 Ladies are looking healthy.
Going to flip t flower in a week or so.

So this was Day 28 I kinda forgot to post it here.
Ladies are recovering from a cal/mag deficiency. I am using MegaCrop 1 part nutrients and I was under the impression it had plenty of calcium and magnesium in it. So I was only adding cal/mag every other feeding. And they got a bit deficient. But new growth is looking good. And for some reason the one plant is drooping more than the other. I have only been feeding 550 ppm once a day until runnoff. Ill think they will recover just fine.

Probably going to need atleast 2 more weeks to recover before I flip to flower. This the part I really like about photo's. You have time to recover from a mistake. You don't get that with Auto's. Even though I have gotten extremely lucky in the past.

Looks more like N deficiency and overwatering to me.

I think you are right. They weren't getting enough nutes. But a couple of the older fan leaves had what I thought was a cal/mag issue. But I think it was a combination of cal/mag and nitrogen deficiency. I just wasn't feeding them enough.

Day 36
Ladies are starting to look good. I bumped up the nutes to 675 ppm. And they are responding well.
