Lighting Dutch Passion Highlite 006 vs. Holographic Series 1 (ms0006 vs HS1)

Hello everyone.

My aim is to do medical grows for my loved one who suffers from MS. I previously had used one Highlite 006 -LED light from DP with good results and today I noticed that one of its 6 LED -elements had gone dark (about 1,5 years of use). Now I am planning on getting a replacement since a good light is more or less "life or death scenario" with our circumstances.

Question is, how in your experience has that new "Holographic Series 1" performed if we compare it to the previous model "Highlite 006". It is my understanding that these are GN -models "ms0006" and "HS1".

Also, I have some problems with finding that perfect medical strain.. DP's CBD Kush is awesome and works really well but the plant itself grows super tall it is almost unbearable to handle in a growroom. I managed to pull some 80 grams of dry at the best with just one "Highlite 006" growing hydroponicly even though I consider myself quite inexperienced grower. Grow space is about 80x60x180.

Since you guys are all about autoflower, could someone please advice on any good CBD rich strains to look for? I love to go with 50/50 balance between THC/CBD since my wife has some serious pain.

Hay med a very warm welcome to AFN. Having used both the 0006 and the HS1 I can say yeild wise it's and easy match and the added bonus of the quality of the weed grown under the HS1 seems better. If you have only had your light 1.5 years it will still be in warrant so drop DP an email and you will be sorted. As for strain choice I belive most of the Dragon strains have been bred for there medicinal value but I'm sure others can give better advice on that.

Thank you for your advice! I did end up checking some of your posts, TaNG, about HS1 and they look pretty convincing. I think I go ahead and get one, wish I would have enough money to get two.

Actually I do live in scandinavia and we do have super tight situation with the law enforcement. That is so that I have to order and handle everything though proxy so my wife can keep having her medicine. I just cannot rely on warranty since it increases the traffic too much and may cause some red flags on the customs. I know they keep books. That's why I think I just try to service it myself or just buy another one. I know it is redicilous but so is the law.

I haven't heard of Dragon -strains of autoflower at all, but then again I am total newbie when it comes to them. Are those available anywhere in EU or just North American thing?

Thanks Mikey! Hey I dropped DP an email about it and they actually got back to me RIGHT AWAY and said they send me a replacement driver and instructions to service the unit. Hands down best customer care I have ever experienced. I am impressed about their way of handling business. Thanks for encouragement to write about this issue a had.
