So i was searching for air stones the other day and came across this thing called the "SPYDER" from modular hydro.( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3hvqLXsOUU&list=UUsOjpI4Gd9WawJPUDb77Xfw ) Well i was going to purchase a few but i have 10 buckets im running so that would get a little pricey. So i went to Lowes with the intent of saving money (which everyone im sure can agree) and build my own. I built and constructed one that i thought was pretty efficent. Here are some pics and a video of what i got

The bucket was filled to about 3 gallons and i was using a cheap walmart double outlet pump with one end plugged.
Do you guys think this is enough velocity from this to be worth anything? I used one of these pumps on 2 12" air "rails" in a 8 gallon res with great results!! I plan on getting a Good pump because ill be running multiple buckets.
Anyways Just wondering what you guys think?? Any suggestions or comments please let me know! I can do a how-to if you guys think i should but its pretty easy. Thanks!!
