I dont know, maybe this is normal. But MaryAnn's cola leaves are dying off and she's only about 50/50 Milky/clear on the tri's. And over 13 wks old. I think she needs two more weeks, but she wont have any leaves left by that time. I'm sure I did my flush too early, rookie error on reading the trichomes. I didnt realize how slow the trich's change color's. Closet is always around 45% humidity, 80° temp.
Day 91 and still no amber.

Here's her sister that I swear is not the same family. Both are supposed to be Critical Purple. I think she belongs to the milkman. But this one also looks the way I would expect them to look pertaining to the stage their in. This girls roughly 70/30 Milky/Clear, IMO.

It's gonna be a nice harvest either way man but I think (do not quote me on this) you had some deficiencies or something going and maybe her medium got a bit dry. Usually when the plant goes thirsty for a while (in my experience) thats how my leaves start looking like in flower.

Oh your right about having a deficiency, I had one on this plant the whole grow, and no matter what I threw at her it didn't fix it. Yet both plants got the same treatment. The watering has always been constant. They don't even look like the same breed in person, IMO.
I just keep plucking the cola leaves as soon as they die to fight back and chance of bud rot. Which I think I'm ok in that regard. As long as I keep maintaining them.

Yeah man just continue plucking them off and ride it till harvest..
Hope you enjoy your harvest :jointman: :headbang::goodluck:

@Badfinger no two seeds are the same. There can be many different pheno expressions from the same batch of seeds. The amount of those expressions will be less the further the seed line is worked but only clones are identical.

I also believe the leave are just showing a nutrient problem which includes watering problems - no water no nutrients.

I just need it to be over. After learning of all the mistakes I made, I am drooling for the next grow. Not to mention, the growing is only one part of the story, then comes the dry and cure. Smoking this stuff is starting to feel like a 100 years away.

I have learned not to doubt you guys. I give them 1.5L each per day. Do you think that's not enough? I do test the soil each day with a cheap moisture meter and it reads dry before watering. A week a go I did give them a scoop of BuildAFlower, to try to compensate for the boneheaded early flush. The cola leaves have been browning for quite a while. A month ago I was concerned this very plant had too many cola leaves, I thought it was re-veggin.

Usually you don't want to let medium dry dry cuz then when you water it will just "float" off the surface and have areas where the medium isn't even wet at all (dry pockets). When that happens some Castille soap(or I forgot the other wetting agents I think they call them) to some water so the water can "penetrate" that dry surface.

What size of pots are you using?
