Well Now I have a question. Should I use the 10 gal rubber maid tub or go with the 3 gal bucket bubblers. I ask because I just got another air pump so that puts me at 570 Gph on the air pumps if I run them both so should I just use 2 3.5 gal buckets or the 1 10 gal tub for the 2 little alaskan Thunderfucks ?

I would suggest going with 2 3.5 gallon buckets vs 1 container, reason being is that even with the same strain from the same pack and even the same plant can and probably will have different phenotypes, thus requiring different nute levels and stuff. With two seperate buckets you can address any issues that arise seperatly. That is just my two cents though. Hope this helps a little and the ATF is one of my favorite strains of all time, great choice!

Yeah I got the ATF from a seedbank in AZ they have a website cannabis-seed.us you ever use them?

*Edit
My Sour D , ATF , Cheese all came from there
its the only bank that has got through to me in a long time

Ok so 2 3.5 it is I might get 5 gal just to have the extra root space

Yep 5 gallons are pretty much the industry standard when it comes to DWC bubble buckets, for just that reason more root space=bigger plants. Personally I would not do DWC in anything smaller than a 5 gallon because the root balls literally fill up a 5 gallon bucket when done correctly. I really want to try a 10 or 15 gallon container and see if I can get a rootball to fill up a small trash can or rubbermaid tote :)

I can try 2, 10 gal totes 1 plant each and see how it works out I have done many dwc runs in rubbermaid but I see everyone using buckets and it looks much easier then tubs.

Yeah buckets are def easier than totes for sure, and if you have done DWC before then I would go as big as you can with your container because you won't do any damage by having a bigger container it will just give your roots the ability to grow bigger.

Just a thought when jve done dwc I was having problems with the res temps always having to change out the ice packs a couple of times a day... I than saw and read up on people using coolers, I made 2gal DWC cooler buxket and it really did do the job keeping the temps stable... Things are looking great sane! SHould be a fun grow to watch! :karma Cloud: of :gthumb:
