Curious,,,,,,,
Ive had great luck recently/finally with infusing edibles=gummys, lolipops, baked goods etc.,.,
and wonder if you might know, is it OK to do these everyday , as far as my health I mean ?
Ive been doing a little in morning and then a little at night for maybe a couple weeks (or less) and really love it and it has helped knock down my smoking
well plus ive been out waiting on a current grow to finish, BUT these edibles have been working great !!
Is it ok to do everyday ? or perhaps BAD for your gut or liver ?
Guessing it's no worse than smoking or alcohol , and maybe even better?

I toke everyday and do edibles on weekends and still smoke. If it is really high THC, it might be cool to take a day off here and there, so far I haven't! It's really how you feel overall. If you feel okay and have no issues with waking up and doing what you have to do, I'm no doctor and didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn, but I'd say as long as you know you are in control and they aren't hindering your daily/nightly duties for work and personal life, you're fine. 😎 :weed:

Thanks, I guess I should be more clear (?) I was wondering about the healthiness of taking daily ?
I can handle what ive been taking perfectly !! after taste test I know how strong, that's not the worry
is it ok on my Liver or gut health is what im wondering.

Thanks

I rely on edibles for chronic pain so I start my day on them and carry on as necessary all day every day for at least six years. I have had no issues other than a little short term memory loss. I learned to write things down to overcome that.

Right on man !! That's what I was hoping to hear and figured, Thank You @Buzzard !
Out of smoke and these work great, I to start off the day with a lollipop and there's a gap/break in the middle of the day then gummy's for night has been working great actually.
And YES I started writing things down , making list years ago.

Presuming you titrate doasge, ingestion is comparably as safe, healthy, etc. as vaping; with smoking outright bad in comparison.

I recall reading (one survey/source claims) that edibles are now the no. 1 legal selling product in many US states in terms of no. of sales (not total $ sales). So besides most medical patients needing very large doses consuming edibles, there are millions of regular and new consumers in gov't-regulated markets, with no particular health problems linked to edibles.

Keep in mind edibles will keep you dosed, high, THC saturated, etc. much longer vs. inhalation. You will likely start pushing up your tolerance, need to consume more to get same desired effects; and you may be more spaced out more of the time.

I think the safest, healthiest way to consume cannabis is vaping. Try out dry bud vaporizers if you haven't already.

Thank You Bill !
lol, I had to look up "Titrate" and still not sure, but Ive been making my edibles with left over rosin pucks (which I thought would get wasted)
and so im trying to make them strong, once edible is made ,I start slow to judge the potency and go from that
taste test for potency.

Titrate just means to do adjustments, ideally fine vs. major, up and down to find your desired dosage.

Unlike vaping or smoking, with cannabinoids absorbed into the blood essentially immediately, it's much easier to do too much with edibles, with these absorbed over hours and dependent on more variables, such as amount and type of food in the digestive tract.
