Ah OK, is that because it smells like kiwi fruit? You guys in the States call Kiwifruit (Actually they are Chinese Gooseberry) Kiwis. In actual fact, Kiwis are the native flightless bird of New Zealand and what New Zealanders call ourselves.
I always get confused when Americans call something a kiwi as I'm not sure if it's bred by a kiwi (NZer) of if you are referring to the fruit
