Fast Buds EQ & 5 New FastBuds Strains

I had a hard time picking between the 5 strains that @Fast Buds Heather sent me. Once again, mucho gracias! I only had space for three so i started a poll and it helped to make my choice.

It was supposed to be Gorilla Cookies, Strawberry Pie and Lemon Pie. I germed them about 2 weeks ago and we have all three of them at around Day 11.

About a week ago, I gave up waiting for some other seeds to pop. So I had extra space to also germ Wedding Cheesecake and Orange Sherbet! Looks like I didn't need the poll after all LOL.

Here they are at around Day 6.

They are all in old worn out 5 gallon pots, in a 4×8 Tent using QB lighting. I'll be attempting to grow them organically.

Update time!

Gorilla Cookies at Day 18. Largest of my FB gals so far. Already filling up 5gal pot diameter at only 18 days! Living up to the Gorilla name!

Strawberry Pie at Day 18. Doing good as well. Nothing to complain about.

Lemon Pie also at Day 18. Nice growth with perfect height and internodal spacing. Some Slight variegation early on but looks great. Almost reaching pot diameter as well.

Wedding Cheesecake and Orange Sherbet at Day 13. Nothing much to report. Early days still.

Update time. They're all still doing their thing. Nothing major to report other than I topped Gorilla Cookies as she's starting to get rather tall.

Tent is 4×8 but there is a 5x5 on standby when they get too big. Lights are mostly QBs with some older COBs mixed into the 5×5. Red and UVA supplements are added in small amounts.

I like running more diodes at lower power for more efficiency and lower heat. The 4×8 has 4 x 350W boards plus Red and UVA strips. So it can actually go up to 1500W at Max output. However, I usually don't go more than 50% of that.

The 5×5 has 1 x 350W Board and 3 × 120W COBs with the same Red and UVA strips. So max output is around 750W but I usually don't go over 600W.

The girls suffered through a bad heatwave reaching 35C. They generally took it very well. Only Gorilla Cookies seems affected slightly and has started flowering. Others are showing slight stress but overall looks great.

Update time. The Fastbuds gals are handling my horrid heat wave pretty well. I watered all 15 pots with a weak solution of only 260ppm few days ago but two plants seems to not like it at all. One of them unfortunately is Orang Sherbet. I'm still hopeful that she'll recover though.

Gorilla Cookies Day 39. Well into flower now. The earliest of all girls.

Lemon Pie at Day 39. Also starting to flower but don't seem to be done stretching yet. Am glad i topped her.

Strawberry Pie at Day 39. Still stretching. I did not top her though. Lets see how big she gets?

Wedding Cheesecake at Day 34. Beautiful girl.

Orange Sherbet at Day 34. Unfortunately, she is showing me burnt tips and clawing leaves. Lesson learnt. I'm hoping for a recovery though. Until then, she is getting nothing but plain PHed water.
