I would suggest that the mods redefine this section. Discussing political matters as it applies to our interests is definitely something that I believe we should allow. Of course, no name calling like Damn Liberals, or Fucked up Republicans wouldn't be appropriate.
Blessed, that rules comes from years of experience. Mods have lives too and constantly having to watch a thread that is always on the edge of trouble is no fun. Yes, it would be nice if everyone could be open minded and respect everyone else's views, but this is the Internet.
I am putting a Vibe Guard on this thread for now, and if it keeps straying away from cannabis, we'll close it up.
IF we are talking about Holder and his possible replacement is that Politics or is that Cannabis talk?

We allow the politics rule to bend somewhat when it comes to cannabis legislation and enforcement. It really should go no further on AFN as we are not a politics site. I would call general discussion about Holder, gun control, how we felt about him as an AG, and speculation on his successor politics. But if someone has factual info on how this may affect us cannabis enthusiasts, please share.

I like the fact that you guys have this rule. Politics is like a religion to some and I can easily see things gettin nasty quick. it dont take much to get you sucked in and wanting your point to be heard, which is fine given the right atmosphere, but afn is about cannabis and I just loaded a bowl
to be honest, I am not nearly as adamant after a few bowls as well.
